HOLY CRAP!
I need to keep up with this more x.x I haven’t posted anything since last Wednesday…
So, as an awesome bonus, I’ll post a couple pictures today to make up for it ^____^
These are adorable little shortbread cookies. A little thick, but yummy all the same~
Chocolate chips in the middle, covered with vanilla frosting and topped with cherry halves. REALLY good with a tall glass of milk, lol

Okay! Here’s another clue to my birthday cupcakes. Today’s clue is…

What kind of cupcake could I possibly be making?
Anyway, onto inspiration! I was called off of work today, so I turned on Food Network, and who was on, but my favorite Italian chef, Giada! I swear, that woman is a Goddess x.x It’s not fair she’s an amazing chef and baker, GORGEOUS, and comes from a famous family of Italian actors, directors, and filmakers. Some people just have all the luck, lol
SO, I was watching her show, and she was making pineapple upside down cake. I realize it’s been done before, but I thought, “Why not make that into a cupcake?” It’s my dad’s FAVORITE dessert, and a friend of mine is holding a package hostage until I bring her baked goods, lol. Perfect opportunity ;)

Wow, talk about no posting in days x.x I’m sorry, guys! Work and life had me a little busy. And now I’m home sick… x.x
BUT, while I’m here, I wanted to give you your THIRD clue to my birthday cupcakes.
The third clue is…
VANILLA!

I read the article on Yahoo! about this bill. The bill states that if you are a single or non-married parent, regardless of your partner being there to help raise this child, you’re far more likely to abuse your child, the government, and yourself.
By being a “single” parent, including those in same-sex relationships who are in civil unions or any parent whom is not married to the woman/man whom is biologically related to the child, are you WILL abuse, neglect, and mistreat your child. You WILL abuse the government systems set up to assist those of low income and little opportunity. You WILL be forced to put your children in the public school system(no offense to the public school system) instead of being allowed to choose which schools your child attends. Essentially, if you’re not married to the biological mother or father or your child, you’re an abusive and neglective parent.
Mind you, the republican senator whom has proposed this bill has NEVER been married. Has NEVER raised ANY child, inside of wedlock or out. He also backed bills to prevent Wisconsinites the government sponsored education and resources to prevent unwanted or unintended pregnancies. Proposing to not only make Wisconsinites ignorant of prevention(should they want to put off having kids) and well as punishing them for that ignorance.
I should also mention he’s a devout Christian man(no offense intended toward other Christians what so ever) whom is basing his abuse and neglect bill off of Sunday School lessons learned as a child in a nation that is has no national religion and a government that is SUPPOSED to be seperated from the church for that reason. By all means, if you believe in and follow Christianity, go for it and I support you in your faith. But don’t force 1/3 of all parents in Wisconsin to follow your ideals because of opinion, inexperience, and close-mindedness.

Hello to all out there! I’m Cat, and I’m going to be starting out as a Baker and Owner of Kit Kat Kupcakes.
A huge dream of mine has been to own bakery and photo studio. Meaning, I own and run a bakery that caters to cupcake lovers, and take artistic portraits of my culinary creations, hang those portraits up on the walls inside the bakery, and offer them for sale if a customer wants them.
Ever watched “Cupcake Wars” on Food Network? THOSE are the kind of cupcakes I want to make. Memorable treats that will have you talking for years to come.
So, here I start, showing you my work and progress as a baker, as a photographer, and hopefully gain some support in the process.
